Taking a full birth class helps parents build confidence in the birth process.  Mothers build confidence in their bodies and partners in their ability to support her.  Talking through your fears, wishes, and options relieves a lot of anxiety that many expecting parents have.  Working with an educator like me, who has been through it myself and has been in the trenches with many other families offers an invaluable perspective on education.

In this full birth class we will discuss everything from pregnancy and birth through early parenting. You will learn what your options really are and how you can have the birth you desire.

Week 1     Pregnancy, Labor, and Birth
Week 2     Partner’s Role (This is any support person)
Week 3     Interventions and Informed Choice
Week 4     How to Have an Unmedicated Birth
Week 5     Postpartum, Breastfeeding, and Early Parenting
