How do you know you are getting your placenta?
     I only allow 1 placenta in my possession at once so there is never a risk of not getting your placenta back.

When do you need to book?
     
Preferably no later than 36 weeks.  Your spot is not secure until you have paid your $50 deposit. 

How do you obtain your placenta from the hospital/midwife?
     In Texas you are legally allows to take your placenta home unless there are contraindications.  You will need to inform your provider that you are wanting to take your placenta and will sign a release form. We will discuss transportation methods.

Is this safe?
     Consuming your placenta is safe, in most cases.  There are some contraindications that can cause consumption to be unsafe.  Being honest with any health issues you may have is important for the safety of consumption.

How many capsules will I get?
     This really depends on the size of the placenta, but the average is between 150 and 200 capsules.

What method is used?
     I use the raw method.  The placenta is cleaned, sliced, dehydrated, ground, and then encapsulated.  I heat at a consistent 160 degrees for 24 hours or until all pieces are thoroughly dry.
